Please keep in mind, this is also coming from someone who doesn't like that Windows 10 has popups in general a crotchety old man, if you will, so I completely understand why most consider it a minor annoyance. If you dont want it to spam you with notifications upon logging in, you can set your friends list to not sign in when Steam starts but that only holds them off until you sign into the friends list. I don't care if it's on by default, but for those of us who don't care in the slightest about that inventory stuff, just an option to turn it off is all I ask. PLEASE, give us an option to disable this. This is even my first time posting in the community, simply because I can't seem to find an answer on how to stop this popup. Open the Steam Client and click on ‘Steam’ in the upper left corner. I honestly don't care about items or stickers that Steam collects, I literally just want to use it as my game client. It gets in the way of other things I'm trying to do on the PC, and it's frustrating that I cannot turn that off. All I'm wanting is to get that notification about my inventory to stop popping up by my system tray whenever I log in.
